Business Analyst

Our client are seeking a Business Analyst to join their team based in Woking. This is a clear key component of the interface between business stakeholders. This role works closely with the business to understand the operating environment, challenges, risks and opportunities and combines this business understanding with technical knowledge.

The Business Analyst will:
Refine requirements from the business and key stakeholders using techniques appropriate to the project, stakeholders and environment
Own and deliver documents for project scope, to include as a minimum
Deliver additional enhanced documentation as required on a per project
Evaluate information gathered and create an impact assessment of project requirements across existing business
Collaborate with technical teams and testers to ensure outcomes are in line with business requirements
Identify and agree key stakeholders for each project / work package
Manage all stakeholder groups across items relating to BA activity including status updates, escalation, and dispute resolution
Ensure stakeholder signoff against all required and relevant documentation
Act as the key link between stakeholders for all requirements related areas
Drive consistency and standardisation where there is clear business benefit in doing so
Identify co-ordinate and manage project activities
Own the planning and management for all items
Ensure technical design and test teams have a full understanding of business requirements

To be considered for the Business Analyst you will:
Have excellent stakeholder management skills
Have the ability to forge strong business partnerships
Build strong negotiation skills across demanding stakeholders including customer
Maintain exceptional communication skills
Have accurate and high quality documentation skills
Maintain excellent analytical skills including requirements analysis, complex data analysis
Ideally have qualifications from adjacent areas e.g. PRINCE2, ITIL, test
