A fantastic opportunity for a Finance Administrator has come up to join a great company based in Woking. The purpose of this position is to support the manager with any duties that arise and be responsible for the finances within the business.

The Finance Administrator position will:
Process invoices from suppliers to the correct General Ledger accounts
Receive invoices and chasing where appropriate
Process expense claims onto the General Ledger
Deal with the correct VAT to postings to ensure VAT is not reclaimed where it shouldnt be
Create and review payment runs and requesting approvals
Verify new supplier payment details
Try and prevent fraud where required and apply things to verifying changed payment details for existing suppliers
Add payments onto the banking system
Post customers receipts on the sales ledger
Follow up on approvals and post payments once approved
Create new suppliers on the ledger
Assist with the reconciliation of bank accounts

To be considered for the Finance Assistant position you will:
Have previous accounts payable experience
Maintain previous use of Ledger / ERP systems
Be able to use excel
Work well under pressure
Have effective communication skills both verbally and in writing
Be AAT qualified which is preferred, but not essential
