A very exciting company are looking for a Finance Manager to join their expanding team. The purpose of this position is to oversee the finance within the business and make recommendations for improvements when required.

The Finance Manager position will:
Drive the continuous improvement of end-to-end accounting practices
Direct the Management Accountant in preparing and post monthly accruals, prepayments and similar accounting entries
Take responsibilities for budgeting and forecasting
Lead the analysis of monthly and quarterly numbers
Present findings to the board
Manage the end-to-end audit and control processes of current systems
Act as the first point of contact for external auditors.
Identify risks to delivery, propose solutions where necessary
Manage stakeholder expectations throughout
Lead the team responsible for payroll, VAT and HMRC processes
Prepare and interpret all financial results as they affect financial progress towards objectives of the company

To be considered for the Finance Manager you will:
Maintain strong technical accounting knowledge
Have experience in creating statutory accounts
Maintain previous experience of AP and AR
Be a fully qualified accountant, ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualified
Maintain strong communication skills
Work well under pressure
Be professional at all times
