Our client based locally are seeking a Part Time Health and Safety Coordinator to join their team. The purpose of this position is to assist in coordinating information from a variety of sources, to ensure the company can deliver against Health & Safety business goals and industry required standards.

The Health and Safety Coordinator will:
Provide written and verbal logistical information, relating to UK Government advice
Provide and insight on events that impact the business units and employees
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support them by providing accurate and timely information
Aid colleagues to make the appropriate decisions with the primary focus being the well-being of our customers and employees
Make sure protocols remain relevant and are followed at all times
Support the Health & Safety team with reports and data gathering
Assist in organising Health & Safety and validation visits
Become a Health & Safety advocate in the business, helping make all teams think H&S first
Travel overseas occasionally

To be considered for the position the Health & Safety Coordinator will:
Have excellent research skills with a focus on accuracy, quality and attention to detail
Maintain strong administration skills as well as planning
Have the ability to accurately interpret rules and regulations
Have experience of working within demanding timeframes
Maintain excellent communication and presentation skills
Be passionate about travel and delivering high levels of customer experience
Be a confident team-player with the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships
Have outstanding skills in Microsoft Office programmes including Excel
