Logistics Coordinator

An exciting, hands-on opportunity has come up to join a growing team and company based in Guildford. This position will be working closely with the Operations Director and will involve a positive, forward thinking candidate to help with the warehouse work and combine this with office based inventory and purchasing.

The Logistics Coordinator will:
Make sure employees are working safely at all times
Comply with company standards and policies
Check the equipment within the warehouse regularly
Ensure customers receive the correct products at all times
Proactively suggest ways to improve and help with customer satisfaction
Deal with any errors that might occur and try and eliminate these as much as possible
Motivate and drive employees within the team
Suggest training requirements within the team if needs be
Meet the company targets that are set within the business
Help with unpacking and stocking deliveries
Support with inventory and purchasing
Deal with any other ad-hoc duties that are required

To be considered for the Logistics Coordinator you will:
Have a minimum of 3 years experience within a warehouse environment
Have supervised a team previously and be able to demonstrate this
Be confident with stock management
Work with accuracy and be able to take on new tasks
Have used inhouse systems previously
Be hard working and want to make a positive impact
Be able to use Excel on a daily basis
