Our We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Paralegal to join their dedicated legal team. The ideal candidate will have at least 6 months of hands-on experience in the transactional aspects of conveyancing. Key responsibilities include:
Manage a caseload of residential and commercial property transactions from instruction to completion, under supervision.
Draft and review legal documents related to conveyancing, including contracts, transfer deeds, and mortgage documentation.
Conduct due diligence, including pre-completion searches, title checks, and ensuring all required documents are in order.
Liaise with clients, solicitors, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other stakeholders to facilitate the timely progression of transactions.
Handle post-completion activities, including registration of property with the Land Registry and managing any related queries.
Maintain accurate records and files, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Key skills and requirements:
Minimum of 6 months experience working in the transactional part of conveyancing, with a solid understanding of the process.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a client-focused approach.
High attention to detail and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Proficiency in using conveyancing case management software and Microsoft Office applications.
