An exciting opportunity has arisen with our lovely client based in Woking. Our client is seeking a they are seeking a qualified Transport and Logistics Manager to join their company! You will be dealing with a range of organisational, management duties to achieve outstanding results within the driver and warehouse teams.

Duties within the role will Include:
Dealing with all areas of Transport and logistics from start to finish
Overseeing the management of drivers and warehouse operatives
Liaising with management regarding upcoming events
Route planning, updating the team on upcoming events and dealing with KPIs
Organising vehicles which need servicing along with MOTs and vehicle upkeep
Negotiating costs with hire companies
Arranging additional vehicle hires when necessary
Dealing with all Health and Safety procedures
Keeping on top of licence and DBS checks
Ad-hoc duties that may arise within administration and general day to day duties

Skills and experience required:
Valid HGV2 licence (or above)
CPC & digital tacho card
Previous experience within a management title
Excellent communication skills both written and spoken

Our client offers a down to earth, fun and friendly working environment working with prestigious events within a fantastic team!
