Our client based in Woking are seeking a CAD Designer to join their team. The purpose of this role is to act as the main point of contact for CAD & production engineering requirements.

The CAD Designer will:

· Produce layout drawings

· Work with architectural floor plans and the technical team

· Liaise with project stakeholders

· Ensure accurate design interpretation

· Review customer orders

· Manage drawing revisions

· Ensure changes are correctly documented and communicated

· Work with the install teams

· Ensure all drawings are accurate, reviewed, and stored correctly

· Support internal and external stakeholders with drawing related queries

· Help identify improvements to drawing processes and internal systems

· Work across multiple projects

 


Skills required for the CAD position:

· Have an excellent eye for detail

· Deliver a high accuracy and quality of output

· Be confident on Design skills

· Have a solid understanding of engineering concepts and processes

· Be able to design for manufacture & production engineering

· Be professional, positive and driven

· Maintain good problem-solving skills

· Have the ability to understand and meet targets

· Have excellent administration and organisation skills

· Work well towards tight deadlines
